    Kenya welcomes visitors from across the EAC, the African continent and beyond. Confirm the latest immigration requirements for your nationality before travelling.

  • Getting to Malindi

    Malindi is easily accessible by both air and road — fly directly to Malindi International Airport or travel through Mombasa.

  • Air travel

    Jambojet and Skyward Express fly from JKIA, and Safarilink from Wilson Airport, to Malindi — approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

  • Road transfer

    Private transfer, taxi, shuttle service or self-drive from Mombasa — approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic.

  • SGR

    Standard Gauge Railway from Nairobi Terminus (Syokimau) to Mombasa Terminus (Miritini) — approximately 6 hours.

  • Travelling via Mombasa

    From Moi International Airport, Mombasa, Malindi is approximately 120 kilometres away by road.
